As I thought about my first post to my blog, I figured what better time to start than with a fun weekend of "All Star" baseball and 4th of July friends!!
My son had the honor of playing on the 12-year old All Star team this year for the Southwest
baseball Pony league and my husband was asked to help coach the team. We have had a great time out at the ball field last weekend and their team took second place in the area and went to the semi finals this weekend in the regional tournament. They played some great games and it was great fun to make some new friends and enjoy the time together.
Congratulations Southwest All Stars!!
We were also able to enjoy the 4th of July this year at our house with some great friends. We enjoyed BBQ hamburgers, watermelon, potato salad,..............

...............and grilled corn on the cob!
Don't forget the desserts that included cute patriotic cupcakes made by my friend Jennifer
and we can't forget the homemade ice cream that Eli said was "Good to the last drop!!"
The night was complete as the kids lit up the fireworks and we watched as we played patriotic music in the background. The kids danced around and had a great time with all of the festivities. We love getting together with friends to enjoy the holiday.
I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July weekend last week!!

It looks like you had a great time. The pics are great. Since we were out of town, we didn't get to see the boys in action but this is the next best thing. The post looks great. Keep up the great memories.
